I highly recommend the scifi series Sliders. It explores the realm of parallel universes. You can take a quick peek at my site slidecage.com @ check out some episodes. I've also been looking into Hulu.com, which provides free episodes and is completely legal.

[...] Jenn and I have been using Netflix’s streaming service a lot recently to watch all sorts of great classic sci-fi on our TV but the whole s-video-from-the-laptop-to-the-TV-with-no-remote setup is wearing thin. Clunky setup aside, the actual streaming experience has been mostly flawless with only the occasional hiccup. That’s why we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new Roku box which promises to be a much more TV-centric video streaming experience. [...]

That's interesting, David... You're absolutely right that negative Tweets are annoying. I wonder which there is more of - too positive or too negative? Makes me wonder if we should just keep most of our Tweets professional and/or informational, to avoid an overly emotional tone in any direction.

It's funny that you should mention that people portray positive aspects of their lives on the web - which is true; but I have been on the verge of writing a post about keeping Tweets and status messages positive. Look at how often you see someone Twitter something like "I'm so sick today," or "The clerk at Target was a real bitch." I'd actually like to see people complain even less - not that I'm complaining or anything :)
